Buffalo

Hi guys,

The Buffalo shoes were all the rage when I was 7 years old. I remember that almost everyone had a pair, myself included. Having said that, I would still have to say that I count them among my wardrobe disasters. 
 I was a bit surprised to see that now they are back in!
 Well they say fashion always comes back. I just think it´s funny that the styles that were in when I was a child have finally made their comeback, however tacky they might have been. 
Does this mean I´m getting old?

This is my dream outfit this weekend. The grey dress looks so comfy and I love the twist on the front. The rings keep the look a little raw while the brown color of the shoes and the bag  go well with the grey of the dress. Simple and pretty.

Flat

Hey guys, 

I have always been more of a heels girl when it comes to shoes. In my opinion(along with many other women)when in the right heels and with a little red lipstick a woman can conquer the world. Personally, I never feel more beautiful than in a pair of heels and with a little lipstick. Still, it can get seriously uncomfortable to wear heels day in and day out, so I always have at least one pair of flats  so that I can switch it up and give the heels a rest. 

Now my only sneakers are literally falling apart ( I´ve had them for a looooong time) so I am on the lookout for new ones. As I am seriously picky when it comes to flat shoes (especially sneakers), that might be easier said than done. Nonetheless here are a few pairs that are on my radar. 

 I really like this cool studded pair from Asos, they almost give my heels a run for their money

 This pair from topshop reminds me of combat boots, I think these would work best with all my dresses and skirts. 

These flatforms from Asos are really cute and would be great for  summer

 I already have a great pair of running shoes, but these from Topshop are pretty cool with the silver stripe on the side.

I really really like this heavily studded pair from Asos, they  might very well become my new pair.

weekend dressing: blush

Hey guys, 

This is my dream outfit for the  weekend

I love the fact that the weather has begun to show signs of spring. Finally! 

This outfit would be perfect for today´s family party. The printed leather dress makes a statement, while the blush pink shoes and sweater tone it down a little, making it  perfectly appropriate for a Saturday spent with the family. Plus the dress will work for night too, just switch to heels and ditch the sweater for a nice black coat.

weekend dressing : feeling blue

Hey guys, 

I am so happy this week is over and so ready to have a cosy relaxing family weekend.

This is my fantasy weekend outfit.  I think the earrings are so pretty and they match the beautiful wide leg pants ( I looove wide leg pants). I would keep everything else neutral to allow the blue color to pop so the white top and grey sweater are great. Finally I would top it off with a cool hat and some basic black pumps.

Saturday

Hi guys, 

Blogging really hasn´t been working out for me lately,  as I´ve been swamped with school work and other things. This outfit really makes me think of Paris, for some reason I am really obsessed with Paris these days, I guess it´s just because I miss it and I miss my family. I am determined to go to Paris this year, whether it be this summer or in the fall. Anyways I think this outfit is perfect for strolling along the streets of Paris (just add a beret and some red lipstick!), or just for Saturday night drinks. I like the Paris idea better.....

This jacket would really make the outfit for me, I can just picture myself wearing all this (and don´t forget the beret) walking along the Seine or at a café sipping coffee.

Airwaves! My Airwaves checklist

Hi guys!

so yesterday was the first day of Iceland Airwaves, I had so much fun!!! I wanted to share with you my

Really love these shoes from ASOS. Made to be worn during a music festival like this. And if I wear impractical shoes I make sure to at least pack some ballet flats.

 This one is great for various events - as you can both use it as a clutch and then it has a shoulder strap to be worn as a cross body bag. And it is roomy enough to hold all the essentials.

Look  what I found on Solestruck!!!
In this post I talked about my sincere love of  the Miu Miu glitter shoes, and because they are a bit over budget for the normal girl, I had to put my shoe dreams to sleep. So imagine my joy when I found these cute look alikes  on Solestruck the other day  for a fraction of the price. Hmmm....should I ?

Fetish

Leather, studs, buckles and spikes are  my obsession  this season.
I really love the fetish trend that has been rocking the A/W '11 runways (Louis Vuitton for example).  This is such a cool trend, very fun and playful and  I love the idea of  adding  fetish inspired shoes or accessories to give a girly look some edge.
 I would pair the spike shoes with a leather pencil skirt and a super soft sweater to tone down the look. And if I were so lucky to have that leather jacket... it would never ever come off.

These are amazing- almost a wedge boot, really cool how the buckle divides the heel.

OH MY GOD - studs and spikes! This Burberry Prorsum jacket is at the top of my list. ( Can this be my new leather jacket? pretty please?)

Love the headband - don´t know if it would suit me though
