Movie night: Chanel

I stumbled upon Coco avant Chanel  on television late  the other night while trying to decide what to watch. What a masterpiece! I am now completely obsessed with Coco and everything Chanel. In the film Coco Chanel is portrayed by the very talented, Audrey Tatou. Audrey is  french and she has starred in some of my favourite films like Un long dimanche de fiancailles (A very long engagement) and Amélie. I really like her in this movie as she does a wonderful job of capturing the character and shedding some light on the life of the mysterious lady who changed the way women all over the world dress themselves.

Book club

I´m still alive!!
I´ve been a little uninspired for the past couple of weeks. That´s all about to get better, now that summer is finally here. it feels like everything is finally coming to life again. The weather has been wonderful here in Iceland and people are generally happier and more positive. I have some exciting plans for the blog this summer that I hope to be able to see through. But for now you should meet my newest "baby". This wonderfully quirky book clutch from Asos is on it´s way into my arms.

Reminds me of the Catcher in the Rye book clutch Michelle Williams carried at the Independent Spirit Awards. This outfit looks amazing on her.
