Photography

Hey guys,

Photography is a big hobby of mine. I love how you can capture any moment just with the click of a button. Just like magic. I even have a really nice camera which I sadly I haven´t used that much lately. I guess as soon as I got an Iphone I started using that to take all my photos. Still I think it is a whole  other feeling with a real camera in your hands. One of my New Year´s resolutions was to take more photos, so I guess there is nothing left to do but take the camera for a walk!

Music on a Monday: Sumargestur

Hi guys,

Feel this song is appropriate since we are finally getting a glimpse of spring here in Iceland, it´s still cold but it is so nice to have the sun. This song is called Sumargestur or Summers guest and is sung by Ásgeir Trausti, one of the hottest names in music right now here in  Iceland.

weekend dressing : Sparkles

Hey guys, 

This is my fantasy outfit for tonight. Tonight I´m going to a friend´s birthday party and this sequin skirt would be perfect.  We still have freezing temperatures here in Reykjavík so the (faux) fur will be a lifesaver when it comes to hitting the town.

Foodie Friday: The little Paris Kitchen

Hey guys,

Stumbled upon a really cute show while watching television with my mother the other night:  The little Paris kitchen with Rachel Khoo. I haven´t exactly been quiet about my love for the city and this show is almost like it´s tailor made for me as it combines my love for Paris and my love for food. Rachel Khoo is the perfect host, a warm and inviting person and it is clear that she enjoys what she does.
Here below is a clip from the show where she is making quiche Lorraine. 

Rachel also has a cookbook out, with the same name as the television series. I can´t wait to get my hands on this one and start cooking.

Caspar David Friedrich

Hi guys,

While in high school I took a couple classes in art history. 

I have always been a great admirer of art and learning more about some of my favorite works of art sparked my interest in learning more. One of my favorite artists  is Caspar David Friedrich.
