So many people I know (myself included) tend to dwell on negative things when they happen. But bad things will always happen. That is just how life works. However it is how you choose to deal with them that is going to define your life.
Here are a couple cool pictures that i have found browsing the web these past few weeks. I am studying for my final exams these days so my posts will be shorter than usual for the next two weeks or so.
Hey guys, I am so close to the end of finals, only one left. By this time I am getting a bit tired(several sleepless nights in a row will do that to you)and my motivation is fading. Basically I just want to sleep, eat and relax. I can´t wait until next Friday at noon, (icelandic time)then I will be a free woman! Let me tell you that, three weeks off from school does sound pretty good and I have promised myself to do nothing but eat good food, read the books that I choose and generally enjoy life. But in the meantime, this picture helps.
Hey guys! Can´t believe the weekend is here again. Not that I am complainig though, always nice to get a little break. Here are a couple of things that have gotten me through the workweek.
Words of wisdom from Henri Matisse
Find Yours.
Found this video from an ad campaign by Expedia. They launched a video competition with the theme Find Yours. The videos had to focus on how you find yourself through travel, your wake up call, your understanding or your anthem for example. This video is called Find your goodbye, and it is very heartfelt... I almost cried. Job well done Expedia!
Caspar David Friedrich
Caspar David Friedrich is one of my favourite artists. I was introduced to his art while studying art history a couple of years back. His work seems appropriate for this time of year as it always reminds me of wintertime.
Pink!
October is breast cancer awareness month, so pink seems like an appropriate colour to wear. I would not object to wearing this every single day of the month. So pretty!
